The tools of beauty professionals should be disinfected before and after each treatment. Device disinfectants have a wide spectrum of action and a short exposure time. Prior to treatments, the surface of the skin to be treated should be cleaned with a skin disinfectant. For home nail care, foot care, and minor cosmetic activities, it is also advisable to disinfect the devices with a device disinfectant before and after use. For home foot care, it is advisable to disinfect the skin, especially between the fingers and the soles, for prevention.
