Paraffin hand care procedure:
Thorough hand washing - it is recommended to clean the nails with a nail brush.
Disinfection of hand skin with skin disinfectant. Disinfect to the wrist! During disinfection, check for infections, injuries to the hands, and nails. Paraffin care should not be used for nail injuries, fungal infections and open injuries!
Exfoliation is an important step in paraffin hand care because the exfoliator removes dead epithelial cells, making the skin “more open during treatment.
Creaming - At this stage, apply the right active ingredient cream to be selected for your skin type. In addition to the cream, skin care oil can also be applied to the skin for an even more effective treatment.
Applying Paraffin - With open fingers, immerse the guest’s hand in the heated, melted paraffin bath, then lift out. Repeat after a few seconds. After the second bath, put on the nylon glove and put on the warm glove. Leave this wrap in the hands of the guest for at least 10-15 minutes.
Be careful not to get the paraffin too hot as it can cause burns!
Paraffin Removal - First remove the warm glove and then the nylon glove with the paraffin. Nylon gloves are disposable and should be discarded after each guest. For hygienic reasons, paraffin removed from the skin must NOT be returned to the machine!
The process of paraffin foot care can only take place after a thorough foot bath and footwork. Of course, the use of a skin disinfectant is also mandatory here. The procedure is the same as for paraffin care of the hand. Apply paraffin to the foot with a brush or gauze pads. It is not hygienic for guests to put their feet in the paraffin machine one after the other.
